Jim Geldermann of Northbrook is the Republican candidate for State Representative in the 17th District. Jim is a longtime resident of Glenview and Northbrook and remains active in a number of organizations. Jim is President of Wireless.dev Corporation, a software and development company providing high-level business-to-business solutions. A software designer of over 50 IT solutions, Jim has expertise in data, information technology, software design and financial services. He is a board member of First Step House, a halfway house for recovering alcohiolics. He is Digital Ministry Leader at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church (OLPH), where he developed the livestreaming of masses and special events. He is also part of OLPH's careers ministry. Jim is a former board member of the Illinois Cemetery Oversight Board and Grant Hospital, Chicago. He has also been a Religious Education teacher and a volunteer at Journey Care Hospice and Palliative Care Center.
