Sal Raspanti is the Republican nominee for State Senate in the 28th District. The Park Ridge City Clerk, Sal is a lifelong resident of Park Ridge, and raised his family there. For 38 years, he worked for FM Global Services, starting as a landscaper before retiring as Vice President of Global Sales. His work ethic, ability to adapt and change, and listening skills enabled him to retire in 2017 and focus on his family and his community. The son of immigrants from Italy, Sal's family came to Illinois for opportunity -- opportunity that has diminished under the current Democrat-led government.

Sal's goals include reducing crime, lowering taxes and controlling the cost of living, putting control of education back in the hands of parents, and providing meaningful community-based representation.
