Glenview's Joseph Johnson is running for State Representative in the 55th District and will be running against Democrat machine-backed appointed Rep. Justin Cochran in the General Election.

The 55th District runs up into Northfield Township in the area bounded by Dearlove, Milwaukee Ave., and Central Ave.
