Kari Grapsas for Township Trustee
Service to others has been a calling for Kari Grapsas, whether its in the professional arena, in her faith community, in her community, or at home. A former flight attendant with American Airlines, Kari went into a corporate career with Capgemini as an administrative assistant, attending to details for IT consulting executives. After marrying her husband Steve, Kari decided to turn her life's work into raising her three children.
Kari learned from her father the value of serving others. She did not grow up in a financially wealthy family, but she learned that real wealth is in sharing your time and your talents with others. So she participated in a myriad of church and community fundraisers as a child and a teen, and that spirit continues today. She continues to serve inside an OLPH Women's Club as she helps raise money for various church initiatives, while also welcoming new families and serving elderly patients in nursing homes.
Kari also is an active participants in various parents clubs related to her children's education. She became more active in our political system a few years ago, and has served as an election judge to ensure free and fair elections.
